Traditional Art / Drawings / Landscapes & Scenery

And I still think the Sea is ours...

Please, do not compare this picture to the original photo too much, it'll spoil everything. I still suck at landscapes. Using oil pastels for the first time since elementary school was fun. Oh, and I somehow managed to scan it. In 4 pieces, damnit.

size: 37x49 cm
medium: Van Gogh oil pastels with Linseed oil on Fabriano Pittura paper (not the best choice for oil pastels, but I used a lot of oil)
stock: Reflection... or is it? by ~eaglevis

ive read some of the other stuff on things you've posted on how you 'suck' at landscapes... but your work really is quite lovely. I love all of it the landscapes, and the people.

I am quite new to this you know. Some people like landscapes, some enjoy still life, I always preferred peope/figures. Hence the 'sucking at landscapes' part. You can only be good at what you really like. Thank you very much
